Ana Catarina Pinho b. 1983, Porto, Portugal.
With a background in Fine Arts and a Master degree in Documentary Photography, Pinho’s work explores the uses of photographic medium and its impact in the discussion and representation of reality.
Her work has been published and exhibited internationally and in parallel to her artistic practice, Pinho founded a research platform – Archivo – which is directing since 2011. She is currently working as an independent editor and assistant professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto and University of Coimbra.
